Students in the SW Junior High 8/9 Robotics options course are competing in Operation Titan, where they control VEX V5 rovers to complete tasks on Saturn’s Moon Titan. CANADA-WIDE SCIENCE FAIR RESULTS
Grade 9 student Gayatri S. achieved remarkable success at the 2026 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Edmonton, earning a Gold Medal in the Intermediate division and the Youth Can Innovate Award. She was the youngest gold medalist from Calgary and the only Albertan to win Intermediate gold. Her project focused on innovative agricultural solutions. Read more
