Today, students in 8A and 8C explored the Pantheon, Santa Maria del Fiore, and the Arena Chapel through 360° VR videos. After learning about these sites in class, students were able to step inside the spaces virtually, giving them a deeper understanding of their physical scale and cultural importance during the Renaissance.

This experience supported our Grade 8 Social Studies learning by helping students better visualize how architecture reflected Renaissance values, beliefs, and ways of thinking. Using VR allowed students to connect what they learned to real-world spaces, strengthening their understanding of why these structures were so significant during this period of history.
