It’s that time of year when our junior high clubs and teams are starting up again! At STEMIA Junior High SW Campus, our students have the chance to explore passions, build skills, and connect with peers through a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. From creative outlets like Art & Board Game Club, Creative Writing, Yearbook, and Videos in Production, to problem-solving and innovation with Chess, Math Club, Drone Team, Lego League Robotics, Science Fair, and Skills Club, there’s something for every curiosity. Students can also get involved in leadership and community through Student Council, GSA, and Daily Announcements.
Joining a club is a great way to meet new people, try something new, and build school spirit. Be sure to tune in to the morning announcements so you don’t miss important updates about meeting times, sign-ups, and exciting opportunities to get involved.
For those who thrive in competition and teamwork, STEMIA offers an exciting lineup of athletics, including cross country, volleyball, basketball, badminton, soccer, track & field, and archery. Whether you’re aiming for the net, strategizing your next chess move, or coding a robot, extracurriculars at STEMIA are about sparking creativity, building confidence, and strengthening our school community.
