Our Robotics Stem course is wrapping up semester one with the Full Volume Challenge. Students have been working hard for the past few weeks to design, build and iterate their VEX robots to score points on the challenge table.
Each team participates in 3 rounds of action: Driving Challenge, Collaboration Challenge and Automation Challenge. Their final scores are the sum of scores in the three challenges. Students were able to repeat each stage allowing for iteration both in the design of their build and in their strategy. It was great seeing scores improve through the week as teams worked collaboratively to solve the different problems that arose.
Robotics will continue in semester two and beyond as we participate in each new annual challenge.
