Intro to Content Creation is an option for our grade 7 students at STEM Innovation Academy Junior High where students are introduced to a variety of graphic and new media softwares through unique projects.
Assignment: Pop Art
The first project in this class is the “Pop Art” assignment. In this task, students use Adobe Photoshop to breathe new life into existing images. They recolor and modify these images to create unique pieces of art inspired by the iconic Pop Art movement.
The YouTube Playlist: An Invaluable Resource
We are producing our own YouTube tutorials to guide the students through the process at their own pace. It comprises tutorials ranging from basic techniques to more advanced tricks, perfectly aligned with the class’s progress. This resource ensures that students can refer back to the instructions as often as they need to be successful.
Nurturing Creativity
Throughout the course, students will also tackle photography with DSLR cameras, 3D design and printing, virtual reality design, UX and more.
