On January 20, 2023 STEM Innovation High School grade 10 students were fortunate to host M Hairdar Putra as our first Future Ready Speaker for the new year.

Haidar currently works part-time as a Mixed Reality student technician for the Geology Department at the University of Calgary assisting the department in implementing Virtual Reality in their teaching and outreach. Haidar introduced a gaming metaphor as he shared his own learning journey with challenges, side quests, getting lost and leveling up. Students and staff continue to be inspired by his presentation and we look forward to staying connected with Haidar in the future.
