Breaking news! We are excited to announce the founding of a new student newspaper at the junior high. This initiative was inspired by a student request and passion that has been taken up by some teacher leaders to bring to our school community. A student staff was chosen from the dozens of amazing submissions from prospective student staff.

The newspaper staff will be meeting on Tuesday lunch hours to pitch, draft, edit, and publish this monthly periodical with stories from our school and community. Student reporters and photographers will be tasked with capturing and sharing the stories that matter to STEM Innovation Academy.

The next step for the staff is to arrive at a name and logo for the publication and to pitch our first stories. Watch this space for updates and some special feature articles from our interprepid staff.
